6 Space 6u 15" Deep 3/8" Ply ATA Effects Rack Case

I bought this case for a small guitar effects rack. Wow is all I can say. This case is built like a tank. One detail I wish that would be added on the website is the depth from rail to rail. It's slightly under 14 inches and I had to make some spacers for a rack tray, but that's a minor setback for such a great case. Great buy and fast shipping.

After reading the FABULOUS reviews on Road Cases USA site, I decided to look for some non-bias reviews. I found a lot of bad reviews on rack case BLOGS and FORUMS about roadcasesUSA.com... such as; construction of case was sloppy ... nothing but cheap junk... "cutting corners" workmanship etc, etc. Of course I read these reviews after I had already ordered the 6-space 15" depth rack case, at this point I was very worried as to what I was going to receive. I received the rack case nicely packed, even thick dense poly packing foam inside the case itself as to keep interior from collapsing or being damaged during shipping. The construction was VERY clean, all rivets going through wood shell had washers (nice to see that) no exposed splintered wood... no short cutting on the metal extrusion rails... finally the installed STEEL rack rails (front & back) are lined up correctly, Whew!!! AND the provided rack rail screws fit nicely in the railing's threaded holes without stripping. Now these are not Anvil brand constructed cases but for a weekend warrior they are a great deal for a decent, nicely constructed, strong rack case. I'm planning on buying the 8-space 15" depth rack case for my remaining power amps to replace the previously purchased cases that are not nearly as nicely constructed AND were $25.00 MORE. I hope the next case will be of equal quality. I am in NO WAY affiliated with Rack Cases USA... just a guy in Vegas who took a chance on them and was very pleased with an affordable decent rack case. I bought this case for my bass rig. It's big enough for a furman, my IEM, my bass head (Markbass SD800) and a 2 space rack drawer- 3/8" plywood is the definitely the way to go--- my only gripe is minimal, the rack didn't come with rubber feet, but that's a $5-10 fix. Other than that, it's more than enough interior depth. I look forward to abusing it!

We've seen a lot of cases..... A lot.... These are very nicely built at as fantastic price.

This case is great. I highly recommend the 3/8 inch rack cases. I have a 1/4 thick 8 space that I has previously purchased. While it is fine for the home studio the thinner case felt a bit flimsy to road. The 6 space 3/8 thick case is built like a tank! Great value in this case!
